Warnemünde, station balnéaire allemande située sur la mer Baltique. 20 juillet 2019. Renaud Bodier participe à la DLRG Cup. Sur l’oceanman, son handler n’est autre que Jan Malkowski, champion du monde du 100 m mannequin palmes, qui le seconde en toute humilité ! Renaud termine deuxième de cette épreuve derrière Daniel Roggenland mais s’impose en revanche lors de la finale de la nage. Une performance d’autant plus méritante que ce sauveteur expérimenté s’entraîne seul, notamment sur le Cher, chez lui, à Tours. Ses efforts paient, puisqu’il est sélectionné pour les championnats d’Europe et fait la une de ce numéro estival.
Cet été restera incontestablement dans les mémoires…
L’été de tous les exploits, comme en témoignent le titre mondial de Nathan Lehoux, en bodysurf à Oceanside ou la victoire de Médéric Berthe sur la Catalina Paddleboard Classic (catégorie stock), toujours en Californie… L’été des grandes avancées aussi, avec la retransmission en direct de l’Oceanperf Challenge sur France 3 NoA !
Afin de surfer sur le dynamisme actuel, notre association entend retransmettre en septembre prochain les championnats d’Europe de Riccione, quasiment en direct, via les réseaux sociaux. Nous lançons dans cette optique une collecte participative, dont voici le lien, et remercions par avance les personnes qui nous aideront à mener à bien ce projet !

| On the 20th of July 2019, in Warnemünde, the German seaside resort on the Baltic Sea, Renaud Bodier participated in the DLRG Cup. In the oceanman, his handler is none other than Jan Malkowski, the 100 m manikin carry with fins world champion, who helps humbly! Renaud finished second in this event behind Daniel Roggenland, but went on to win the swim race final.
A performance all the more impressive considering that this experienced lifesaver trains alone, on the river Cher, at home in Tours. His efforts have paid off as he has been picked for the European Championships, he is on the cover of this summer issue.
This summer will undoubtedly remain in all our minds… A summer of incredible exploits, for example the world title of Nathan Lehoux, in bodysurf in Oceanside or Médéric Berthe winning the Catalina Paddleboard Classic (category stock), also in California… A summer of major progress with the live broadcast of the Oceanperf Challenge on France 3 NoA!
Hoping to add to this positive momentum, next September our association intends to broadcast the European Championships in Riccione, nearly live, via social networks.
