Trois ans après la dernière édition, le trophée Coureurs d’écume effectue cet été son grand retour ! Les nageurs, sauveteurs et autres triathlètes sont attendus au départ, le 28 août à 17h50 sur la plage du Parc, à Hossegor.
Au menu des braves : 2 km à la nage, dans le lac et le canal d’Hossegor, avec des portions à contre-courant. Cette épreuve est organisée depuis 2008, mais la pandémie a privé les nageurs de deux éditions. Le record de l’épreuve est de 27 mn et 50 s. Va t-il tomber cette année ? Verdict ce dimanche !
En guise de mise en bouche, les traditionnels 1000 mètres, sans classement et à vocation familiale, ouvriront le bal des réjouissances à 16h30.
L’association Coureurs d’écume orchestre ces traversées avec le concours de la mairie de Soorts-Hossegor et du Lions Club d’Hossegor Côte Sud.
