Justin Bakinga et son association sillonnent le Cameroun afin de prévenir les noyades et initient au passage les riverains au lifesaving. Justin symbolise parfaitement les hommes et les femmes œuvrant aux quatre coins du monde, que ce soit dans le sauvetage professionnel ou la compétition. Les deux aspects sont liés.
On ne compte plus le nombre d’athlètes surveillant les plages et les bassins, après s’être entraînés dans leurs clubs à sauver des vies.
Huit jeunes du club de Saint-Jean-de-Luz ont allié ces deux activités, à l’occasion d’un périple sur la Gold Coast. Ils ont passé avec succès leur bronze medallion, assuré une patrol sur la plage de Coolangatta et participé aux championnats d’Australie ! Nous avons suivi leur parcours.

CDC devient le principal partenaire de ce circuit européen, devenu incontournable et en quête de développement. Nous sommes fiers de nous associer avec cette compétition continentale, orchestrée par le Barcelonais Frederic Tortosa.

Justin Bakinga and his association travel all over Cameroon to prevent drowning and initiate residents to lifesaving. Justin is a perfect example of all the men and women working around the world, whether in professional lifesaving or competition. Both aspects are related. There are countless athletes watching beaches and pools after training in their clubs to save lives.
Eight young people from the club in Saint-Jean de Luz have combined these two activities on a trip to the Gold Coast. They successfully passed their bronze medallions, patrolled on Coolangatta Beach and competed in the Australian Championships! We followed them on their journey.
You will also find in this issue this year’s calendar and in particular the dates of the Euro Beach Flags Tour. CDC becomes the main partner of this European circuit, which has become the event not-to-be-missed and is seeking to expand. We are proud to be associated with this continental competition, directed by Barcelona’s Frederic Tortosa.
